"Dr Oli was lovely, and his consultation very queer inclusive. I had Botox and tear trough filler, and I’m really pleased with the results. I look far more refreshed, almost like I get enough sleep! The procedure itself was surprisingly easy, and relatively painless. During the entire process Dr Oli was warm, kind and affirming in his approach to conversations around gender and make up etc so I felt able to share my concerns freely. I felt extremely safe and grateful for his care. I would recommend to any trans or gender queer person."

Polynucleotides — under-eye

"After a great recommendation from a good friend (and seeing first hand his results turn out great!) I took the plunge to get my first ever consultation for some Botox. Dr Oli couldn’t have been a better choice. I was very nervous to even think about getting it done but he instantly put me at ease and explained everything in a relaxed and informed manner. He answered any tricky questions I had and put me right at ease as we did the procedure (which was pretty painless to be honest!). I would totally recommend his services and will be back again when I need a top up. Give Dr Oli a try!"

"Dr Oli was super helpful, in numerous ways, about what I was having done. I understood what I was having done. I can tell Oli is very passionate about his work. I felt in really good, knowledgeable and safe hands. I would definitely recommend Oli."

"Dr Oli is approchable, reliable and really caring for his patients. Cannot recommend better, particularly if you are new with treatments. I feel very safe considering he’s an actual surgeon too!"

A surgeon’s anatomy.
A light hand.

Dr Oli Curwen is a GMC-registered medical doctor and aesthetic practitioner who founded Dr Oli Aesthetics in February 2023, taking advanced injectable training from Derma Medical and the Harley Academy onto a foundation of surgical training that earned him MRCS membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He continues to operate as an NHS colorectal surgical doctor alongside his private aesthetic practice, and is a member of the Aesthetics Complications Experts Group (ACEG) — the UK clinical-network specialising in injectable complication management.

The clinic offers 6 treatment categories — anti-wrinkle injections (cosmetic and medical), HA dermal fillers (including non-surgical rhinoplasty and tear-trough), Profhilo bioremodelling, polynucleotide regenerative injectables, the 4-module Alma Harmony laser platform, and bespoke gender-affirming aesthetic care with a Prollenium UK partnership. Every patient pathway begins with a £50 paid consultation, fully redeemable against any subsequent treatment cost, and a minimum 7-day "thinking-time" gap is built into first-time filler patients before any injection is performed.

The strapline — "you, but on a really good day" — is the operating principle, and it is a deliberate one. The goal is never a different face; it is the one you already have, looking rested. First doses are kept conservative, hyaluronidase is stocked on-site for immediate filler reversal, and patient selection is honest: not every one of these consultations ends in treatment. The practice has been featured in 5 publications and podcasts (Revamp Magazine, The Story Magazine, TransVox, Red Circle, Evolve) for clinical commentary on injectable care and gender-affirming aesthetics. Booking is via the Zenoti webstore; WhatsApp is the preferred non-booking contact route.

Your journey,
step by step

Paid Consultation

A £50 paid consultation covering medical history, treatment goals, anatomical assessment, and a written, costed plan. The fee is fully redeemable against any subsequent treatment. There is no pressure to proceed — many patients take the plan home and return when ready.

Treatment

Performed with surgical-anatomy precision using only MHRA-licensed prescription products and CE-marked devices. Hyaluronidase stocked on-site for HA filler. For new filler patients a 7-day thinking-time gap is built in between consultation and treatment.

Aftercare and Review

Treatment-specific aftercare instructions are provided at the appointment and emailed afterwards. Where appropriate, a 2-week review is included — particularly important for first-time filler patients to assess settling and address any adjustment needed.

Common
questions

What are your credentials?

Dr Oli holds an MBBS (medical degree), a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences, and is an MRCS — a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Advanced aesthetic training was completed with Derma Medical and the Harley Academy. He is also a member of the Aesthetics Complications Experts Group (ACEG).

Are your treatments safe?

While all treatments carry some risk, every risk is discussed with you in detail at consultation. At Dr Oli Aesthetics, all injectable treatments offered are safe for their intended use and are research-backed. Hyaluronidase for HA filler reversal is stocked on-site, and Dr Oli is an ACEG member trained in complication recognition and management.

Do the treatments hurt?

All injectable treatments require a needle. Pain is often minimal — a small pinch lasting one to two seconds at each injection point. For dermal filler and certain other treatments, numbing cream (local anaesthetic) is used to reduce discomfort. Most patients describe the sensation as a 2 to 4 out of 10.

Are your treatments suitable for everyone?

In short, no. Every plan starts with a consultation to discuss treatment goals and assess what options are available to you. All patients must be at least 18 years old and have capacity to consent. Treatments are not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or where specific medical contraindications apply.

Do you have an age limit on who you treat?

No upper age limit, however it is important to be realistic about treatment goals at any age. All patients must be at least 18 years old and have capacity to make decisions on their own health. Treatment plans are bespoke; goals discussed at consultation lead to bespoke pricing and an honest view of what is achievable.

How much does a consultation cost?

An initial consultation costs £50. The £50 fee is fully redeemable against any subsequent treatment, so where treatment proceeds the consultation is effectively free. Where you choose not to proceed, the consultation fee covers Dr Oli's time and any photography or written plan provided. Cancelling your consultation more than 48 hours ahead has no fee.

Can I have my consultation and my treatment on the same day?

It depends on the treatment. For anti-wrinkle injections, same-day treatment after consultation is generally fine. For dermal filler in patients new to the treatment, a minimum 7-day "thinking-time" gap between consultation and treatment is required in line with best-practice guidance. Returning patients can usually book consultation and treatment on the same day.

I am looking for a treatment not listed on your website. Can you offer it?

If a specific treatment is not listed and you are interested in the possibility of Dr Oli performing it, this can be discussed with him at consultation. Dr Oli will be honest about whether the treatment falls within his current scope of practice; if it does not, he can refer you to a clinician who specialises in that area.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel more than 48 hours ahead of your appointment, there is no fee. Cancellations under 48 hours forfeit the £50 consultation fee. Repeat short-notice cancellations may result in a requirement to prepay future bookings before they are confirmed. Cancellations are made via the Zenoti booking system or by WhatsApp.
